The myth of the tortured artist, working in a damp basement in a ripped t-shirt, is dead. At Le Socle, we keep saying it: art is a business, and beauty pays off.
If we want our artists and craftspeople to be seen as world-class entrepreneurs, they need to be equipped as such. That's why our accelerator is proud to unveil its complete collection of workwear and presentation apparel for the Spring/Summer 2026 season. This isn't just "promotional merchandise." It's the new uniform for the creative elite.
Max Doré at the helm of the inaugural collection
For this first collection, our founder, Max Doré, dusted off his pencils. Drawing on his expertise in international branding (and the immense global success of his former brand, UNDZ), he designed a clothing line that merges the utilitarian aesthetic of Atelier A with the codes of urban luxury.
The message is clear: when you wear Le Socle, you wear ambition.
Local resources as a luxury raw material
We applied the same rigor to this collection that we demand from the companies we support. Sourcing was not left to chance. We sourced materials that demonstrate the power of regional influence as an economic driver.
Ultra-durable recycled cotton: To withstand sawdust, clay, and sparks, while respecting the principles of a circular economy.
Sheep's wool from the Eastern Townships: Because Quebec's terroir produces exceptionally high-quality fibers that rival the finest European brands.
Hand-embroidered in Quebec: Every logo, every detail is embroidered by local artisans. It's the ultimate anti-fast fashion.
A 100% free investment for our cohort
How much will this exclusive Spring-Summer 2026 collection cost our designers-in-residence? Zero dollars. This collection is offered free of charge to all the artists and artisans selected by our investment fund. Why? Because we consider it a direct investment in their brand image. Just as a Formula 1 team equips its drivers, Le Socle equips its talent for victory.
A blank canvas for the future: From Quebec, for all of Quebec
While Max Doré is designing this first line, future collections will be entirely entrusted to Quebec designers, whom we are supporting. Clothing will become a new export channel for their art.
Our promise of regional explosion also applies to what we stand for: From Quebec, for all of Quebec, all regions of Quebec. Whether you are a sculptor from Saint-Jean-Port-Joli or a ceramicist from Abitibi, prepare to carry your ambitions on your shoulders.
