Thank you, Anne-Sophie Goupil.

It all starts with the right person.

Anne-Sophie Goupil, a photographer from Trois-Rivières, delivered what I sincerely consider the best series of photos I've ever had of myself. Three images. Three moments. A visual coherence that says exactly what the new show is about without needing to write a single word underneath.

It's not easy to photograph someone who knows what they want to project. Anne-Sophie did it naturally, with a keen eye and precise direction. If you're looking for a photographer who understands personal branding—remember her name.

Why a real photoshoot?

Because I'm not going to invest $25,000 in a studio to show up with a photo taken with an iPhone in my living room.

The new independent opinion media outlet covering Quebec and Canadian news, launching June 1, 2026, is a serious project. A project into which I'm investing time, money, energy, and a good deal of my credibility. The photos that represent this project must live up to this ambition.

This isn't vanity. It's respect for the project—and for the people who will follow it.

Where does the show stand? The truth.

The studio is moving forward. The equipment has been ordered. The set is taking shape.

And the team is being built.

It won't be a large team. That's not the goal. Three key people—chosen for their skills, their energy, and their commitment to the project's values. Three people without whom the show wouldn't work. No filler. No unnecessary hierarchy. Just the right people in the right places.

This is the model I've always preferred—at UNDZ as well as at Le Socle. A small, close-knit team is infinitely better than a large, lukewarm one.

June 1, 2026 — The date is confirmed

Two live shows a day on YouTube. Noon and 6 p.m. Quebec and Canadian news filtered through the lens of Common Sense, with opinions that are both assertive and supported by facts. No beating around the bush. No government subsidies. No sponsors dictating the editorial line.

The photos are ready. The studio is arriving. The team is getting into position.

There are a few weeks left. And we're going to use that time to get everything set up properly — because when June 1st arrives, there's no going back.

We're almost there. And this time, the images prove it.
