The Socle team is immensely proud to announce the acquisition of a magnificent artwork at the BINGO KITCH event, recently held to benefit the Saint-Jean-Port-Joli Sculpture Biennial.
Thanks to the silent auction held during this memorable evening, we had the privilege of winning the bid for the artwork entitled Petit ours Paysage (Little Bear Landscape), created by renowned artist Michel Saulnier.
Why this acquisition is important to us
Supporting the Biennale means investing in the creative DNA of our region. Michel Saulnier's work, with its unique sensibility and deep connection to the land, perfectly embodies the spirit of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli.
By participating in this auction, Le Socle hoped not only to enrich its collection but also to contribute directly to the success of the next edition of the Biennale, a flagship event for contemporary sculpture in Quebec.
Mark your calendars!
The community's mobilization during BINGO KITCH ensures a bright future for the 2026 program. We also invite you to note the official dates of this major event:
Event: Saint-Jean-Port-Joli Sculpture Biennial
