There are pivotal moments in the life of an organization—instances where the vision finally meets the perfect place to flourish. For us at Le Socle, that moment has arrived. It is with immense pride and an excitement we can barely contain that we announce a major milestone today: Le Socle is coming!

Starting March 1, 2026, we will be setting down our bags—and more importantly, our ideas—in our brand-new offices located at 254 Avenue de Gaspé West, in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli.

More Than an Address, a Creative Ecosystem

The choice of this location was far from accidental. We weren’t simply looking for walls to house administrative desks; we were looking for a pulse, a soul. We found that perfect alignment at 254 Avenue de Gaspé West.

The building that will welcome us is far removed from cold, traditional office towers. It is a space imbued with a strong creative vision, a veritable hive of talent where artists and artisans are already established. By occupying a significant portion of these premises, Le Socle isn't just renting space; we are joining a community. The prospect of crossing paths with a sculptor in the hallway or hearing the sounds of a neighboring artisan’s tools is integral to the atmosphere we wanted to offer our team and our visitors. This cohabitation promises a unique synergy, where inspiration flows freely from one door to the next.

In the Heart of an Iconic Village

Settling in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli means choosing to become part of a rich cultural history. This village is not just another municipality; it is a true creative hub in Quebec, renowned for its artistic effervescence, inspiring landscapes, and tight-knit community.

For Max Doré, President of Le Socle, this relocation is the culmination of both a strategic and sentimental vision.

“Settling in the heart of the village of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli was an obvious choice for us. This village breathes art and boldness. It is an essential creative hub in Quebec, and it was vital for Le Socle to be physically connected to that energy. We want to be where it’s happening, at the center of the action, to better serve our mission,” explains Max Doré.

By moving to the center of the village, we are getting closer to the essentials: the creators, the public, and the raw inspiration provided by the nearby river.

A Propulsion Hub for Artists

What will these new offices look like? Forget the image of a classic secretariat. Le Socle's new premises have been designed to become a true crossroads for exchange.

We have conceived this space as an open and dynamic creative "hub." Our ambition is that every artist and creator who crosses our threshold feels immediately at home, ready to build the future. It will be a place to:

  • Connect: Break the isolation of the artist by offering a warm meeting space.

  • Collaborate: Spark unexpected partnerships between the diverse talents gravitating around Le Socle and the building.

  • Propel: Find the resources, advice, and guidance necessary to transform a sketch of an idea into a concrete and radiant project.

We want our offices to be the fertile ground where your artistic ambitions take root and soar. Whether you come for a formal meeting or simply to discuss a wild idea over coffee, our door will be open.

See You in March 2026

Renovations are well underway, and excitement is at an all-time high. The entire team is busy preparing these spaces to ensure they are worthy of your talents.

Mark the date: March 1, 2026. It is the beginning of a new chapter for Le Socle, but above all for all the artists we are dedicated to supporting. We can’t wait to welcome you to our home—your home—in the heart of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, to continue propelling art and culture to new heights, together.

See you very soon,

The Le Socle Team
